Lake Superior State Park
Lake Superior State Park was added to PIPC's network of parks in 1968. Located in Sullivan County, NY about 20 miles west of Monticello, this 1,049-acre park is endowed with two exquisite lakes – Lake Superior and Chestnut Hill Pond.
Lake Superior is one of only four PIPC parks where deer hunting is allowed, as well as turkey hunting. Hunting allowed only in designated areas.
Lake Superior is managed by Sullivan County as part of a cooperating agreement.
