Fall is a time of migration for many species of animals in the northeast. Join us in an artistic exploration of migration, as we play with the differences in color and composition of the land and water that the animals travel over and through — from the earthy autumn tones of the Hudson Valley, to the aqua blues and bold colors of southern island habitats. Participants will have the opportunity to study aerial images of the earth and mix paint colors, while imagining the experiences of the animal life migrating to different lands and waters.
FOR ALL AGES. Recommended for children 4+ with parents/caregiver. Wear layers for the variable weather, sturdy footwear, and bring a water bottle and snack/lunch. Clothing and footwear should be appropriate for nature exploration and studio art (ie: clothing/shoes/outerwear that may get wet, dirty or stained).
